Software Version 3.301 Major additions - Added functionality for tracking home improvement projects. - Added Query By Example (QBE) to asset tracking and reporting. - Added asset view to category, project, and room lists. Allows users to view just those assets that match a particular one of those records. Other Changes - Added additional help topics as needed. - Added QBE filters to reports. This means you can filter your asset list based on your search criteria, then use the resulting matches to filter your reports. For example, you can search for assets that have a value of over $1000, but no picture. Then print this list so you can go about locating the assets and taking pictures to upload to the software. Version 3.202 - Added Quantiy field to an asset record to record how many of an item you have. For example, six dining room chairs, or twelve china plates. - Added new replacement value per unit field, to record what the individual replacement value per piece would be. - Added auto-muliplication of the quanity and replacement value per unit field to calculate the new replacement value field. - Added last payment date field to the insurance record. - Added next payment date field to the insurance record. - Added coverage start date field to the insurance record. - Added coverage end date field to the insurance record. - Added notification message to system when starting program that indicates if a coverage end date is coming up in the next 30 days. - Added red highligting to insurer list if the next payment date or coverage expiration date is within 30 days from today's date. - Added 5,000 character room note field to the room record. - Added appraisal tab to the asset record. - Added appraisal required check box to the asset record. - Added appraisal on file check box to the asset record. - Added appraisal on file with field to the asset record. - Added last appraisal date field to the asset record. - Added last appraisal amount field to the asset record. - Added appraisal required check box to the category record, indicating that assets under this category require an appraisal (e.g. jewelry). - Added warning to the asset record when selecting a category requiring an appraisal that one is required when such a category is accepted. - Added a getting started wizard to guide new users through setting up the software. - Added icon and link to new getting started wizard from the - Fixed problem where a space was added to the beginning of the description field if no manufacture year was entered above. Version 3.201 - Added FTP program for 1003PA file transfers. Unless the software is registered for a particular vendor, a warning will appear that no FTP info is available, but a generic FTP console will appear, allowing the user to transfer files between their computer and other FTP sites. Version 3.101 - Changed version number to an x.xxx format to allow for subtle changes. - Allow user IDs to be blank - support issue to make it easier for clients having difficulties with the admin functionality of the default ID. - default user ID is now blank, though there is still a record for that ID. - Added viewer window to review release notes (this file) from within the software. - Note: Users may not create a blank ID, but rather this can only come from the software vendor. I.e., once the default ID of no user ID or password has been changed, there is no way to change it back. Version 3.0 Major release. This version is 1003PA certified with reports and export tools for supporting documentation to the mortgage lending form 1003. - Added 1003PA report. - Added 1003PA export file procedure. - Added (or fixed, depending on the version you are upgrading from) the resizing logic on the main asset form. Version 2.6 - Added Status field to indicate whether the item has been sold, donated, etc. - Added a Warranty notes field to allow recording of information related to the warranty of the item. - Splash screens: changed email address to proper email for myhomeassets.com. - Fixed missing user id information preventing access to file. - Fixed installation to include pwutil.dll. Version 2.5 - Added new security system that requires log on to the system. Files and data are not visible to anyone who is not logged on. See F1 help for tips on using the security. The default user ID is "admin" and no password. We recommend you keep the administrator log in on your system, but add a password as soon as possible. Once you add a password, you may not delete it, but you can change it. administrators have a level of "99". Anything less than level 99 is considered a user and the user ID cannot administer or see the list of other users. - Added 1003 PA - Personal Asset report - Added a preferences window in order to allow personal data to be added to the system that will later be used on the 1003 PA report. - Added ability to put customized string on toolbar, showing who provided or sponsored the software, along with a link to their website. Stored in the promotion.ini file. - Added ability to put customized icon and link to website for provider or sponsor of the software on the About window. - Added an About icon on the toolbar. - Added categories to the system that can be referenced in the asset record. - Added category supporting list and form. - Added category link from toolbar. - Added a browse total showing value of the assets for vehicle and home assets,\ their insured value, and the variance to demonstrate whether the home owner or renter has enough insurance coverage for the assets entered. - Changed some screens to eliminate the Credify Systems logo and info. This will be an ongoing transition as MHA becomes an individual company. - Modified software, main frame to start in the center of the window, and ignoring the old starting position. This makes the interface a little more clean the next time the program is started. - Added four files to the install that were intentionally left out of the original distribution CD. They include: C60FEX.dll C60HLPX.dll We60x.dll c60netx.dll Imexcor3.dll - Fixed the word "Tueday" to read "Tuesday" that appears in the application frame indicating the day of the week. - Fixed installation so that the asset data file refers to a generic image file directory so that the program can be installed in a non-standard location on the user's hard drive. - Added distributor code to about and preferences screens for easier registration. - Changed logos and info on about and splash screens. - Changed hyperlinks to MyHomeAssets! on about and splash screens. - Modified Un-registered software screen to better indicate steps required to register the software.
